Where it all began…

The journey started back in 2011 during a holiday on the mesmerizing island of Menorca — the birthplace of authentic avarcas. While wandering through its quiet streets, I discovered a tiny 6m² shop bursting with traditional avarcas from top to bottom.
Inside, surrounded by the colors and craftsmanship of Menorca, a friendly local lady welcomed me with a warm smile. I had seen avarcas before, but this time felt different — this was the real thing: authentic Menorcan shoes made the traditional way.
After nearly an hour of trying on different models and colors, I finally chose a classic white pair. I walked out with my first original Menorcan avarcas… and a smile I still remember.

A tradition that stayed with me

From that moment, avarcas became my trusted travel companions.
City breaks, beach escapes, long walks, summer adventures — they handled it all. Comfortable, durable, stylish, and always reminding me of sunny Menorca.
At home, they wait patiently for the warm season, ready to explore both city streets and forest paths.
